Child Safety Standards

Protecting children on Hartline.

Last updated: 30 October 2026

1. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Hartline (app name on Google Play: Heart Line, package com.heartline.app) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any content, conversation or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits, endangers or abuses a minor is strictly prohibited on our app, website and all our services, in chat, audio calls, video calls, profiles, images and any other content.

2. 18+ only

Hartline is only for adults aged 18 and above. Users must confirm they are 18+ before using the app, and every listener, adviser and astrologer must pass identity and date-of-birth verification (KYC) before approval. Accounts that we find or reasonably suspect to belong to a person under 18 are suspended immediately.

3. What is prohibited

• Creating, sharing, requesting or linking to any child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Grooming, sexual talk or sexual requests involving a minor
• Asking a minor for images, videos, personal details, contact numbers or meetings
• Sextortion or any threat involving a minor
• Trafficking or any content that endangers a child
• Pretending to be a minor, or helping a minor get around our age rules

4. How to report in the app

Every chat, call and expert profile in the Hartline app has a Report option (and Block). Choose “Child safety concern” as the reason. Experts can also report users from Session details → Safety. You can also report directly by email to heartlineofficial121@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 9399331566. You do not need an account to report by email.

5. What we do with a report

Child safety reports are given the highest priority and are reviewed by our team as quickly as possible, normally within 24 hours. When CSAE or CSAM is confirmed or reasonably suspected we: remove the content, permanently ban the account(s) involved and block them from returning, preserve the relevant records as required by law, and report the matter to the appropriate authorities.

6. Reporting to authorities and legal compliance

Hartline complies with all applicable child safety laws, including India’s Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (including Section 67B) and IT Rules. We report CSAM and child sexual exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and law enforcement, and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable. We cooperate fully with law-enforcement requests.

7. Prevention

• 18+ confirmation for users and KYC with date-of-birth checks for all experts
• Admin review of every expert application before approval
• Report and Block on every chat, call and profile
• Monitoring of reports and repeated-violation patterns, with restriction, suspension or permanent ban
• Expert training and written rules that forbid any contact with minors

8. If a child is in immediate danger

Contact local police (112 in India) or Childline (1098 in India) right away, then report to us.

9. Child safety point of contact
